Turnout gear?

Postby Gator52 on Tue Jan 02, 2018 12:09 am

I was thinking I'd seen some 1/24 resin turnout gear awhile back; anyone familiar with it? I think there was a set of helmets, as well as a pair of boots/pants.

They were pretty nice, Have no idea where or who made them,

Stars at night. You see them due to the light traveling from them. What you see is the stars past. If you are seeing a star that's 6,000 yrs ago. Imagine somebody on that star looking at us. They'd be seeing us as 6,000 yrs ago. Which of those two is now?

Jonah, I picked up a set of helmets a long time ago from a modeler in Texas. If you need a few, send me your address.

I think SSB had a set of turnout gear a long time ago, but I'm not sure if his stuff is still available.

There's also a set that turns up on ebay from time to time.

SSB has some nice turnout gear and helmets. If you want some older style helmets, threeinchesunder has some Cairns and Emergency! helmets.

The Yatming diecast fire engines came with lots of goodies. Many included some nice traditional style fire helmets and boots. The trucks themselves are very nice as well, particularly if you can find them damaged at a bargain price.

The '62 Seagrave and both of the Macks have a good supply of vintage boots and helmets.
