I have been watching season 1 of emergency on Netflix . Have you ever noticed there are 2 squad 51s? In one scene it has a newer front end with a chrome bumper and chrome grille and the next scene it will have an older front end with a painted bumper and white grille. I have noticed this in 2 different episodes. In the episode weird Wednesday when they run a call for a guy locked in a freezer , when the arrive on scene it's the newer front end when they are leaving its the older front end.

I've seen almost every episode on Hulu. When you watch show's NOW, that you watched as a kid, you seem to find everything that was 'spiced in' or an added shot. It's funny sometimes when you notice these things. Almost makes you wanna say, ' do they really think I'm that stupid "? :D :D

I got my 2 year old son watching it (between watching Thomas or Curious George)

He points to the TV and says "Fire Truck!" And goes "Woo Woo Woo!" :D

For those with a ME TV Affiliate, Mine carries all 3 Mark VII Limited shows in a 2 hr block.
I watch Dragnet at 4 PM, Adam-12 at 4:30. And Emergency at 5 PM.
Sat, they start with Emergency at 5,, Adam-12 at 6, and Dragnet is 6:30.

I also have Seasons 1, 2, 3 & Movies DVD Box sets for Emergency, And season 1 Adam-12.
I can watch ANYTIME I want to!!

If I can get a Long enough VGA cable to hook to my Good TV, I Might start watching them from the Net6.

Yes, They Did have a Lot of Goofs in the Action shots.
Remember, Most "En-Route" shots were done as File footage, and used many times.

Johnny & Roy rode the Tail-board of the Ward ONCE officially, But You will see one or more of those scenes
when they are in the Squad!!
Also, when Engine 8 Leaves station, Johnny Is in the right jump seat, even though he filled in there only Once!!

At least when we see the Old Dodge, they Do have the Twinsonic bar on the roof and Not the Platter as
on Squad 10 which we First see in the Pilot!!

I had that ME TV channel for about one week. Now I cant find it any more. The first day I seen it listed they had emergency showing, I watched it, and thought this is cool as heck. It's a shame it disappeared though. Lucky you Dan. :D

My wife got me the 1st four seasons of Emergency! for my birthday a few years back. The episodes definately improve after the 1st season both in story and continuity.

If you have Netflix you can find many of these old shows from time to time. They have had Emergency available, and lately my wife and I have been watching Adam 12.

Even with the new squad, there are at least three different ones.

The two common ones have either chrome "DODGE" on the hood, or a painted over "DODGE" on the hood. The third has the ID light on top of the lightbar omitted.

On the back of the box, some show a reflector and others show a solid disc above the tail light.

A little web search shows a photo of a truck with a plate 70 324 H instead of the famous emergency vehicle plate 999 007. Also the 'new' Dodge in the pilot does not have the light on the twinsonic. The painted Dodge might have been for cinematic cosmetics to reduce glare. I noticed this done on the old Corvettes of 'Route 66' (Pete Malloy before he joined the force :D )

In early episodes, Yes, the D O D G E letters Are painted Red,
But, In latter episodes, They are Covered with Red Duck/Vinyl tape!!!.

Watch a few ADAM-12 episodes and watch that too!!
NO Plymouth, or Belvedere badges/script on her!!
Though I do think they WERE there on the 67 Pilot Belvedere!!

And watch to other cars.
58 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible Either the Red one or the White one.
(Might even be the same car painted) You see a Large Silver Block where the "Fairlane 500"
script is on the rear fender!!

DMV reports only say Chevrolet, Ford, etc Generic.
Not Chevrollet Impala/Biscayne/etc, FORD Galaxie/Fairlane/Torino/etc.
Though they DID say MUSTANG

Both of these are due to Licensing fees to Use the names on the shows

I'd heard two others had been used in addition to the 1972, a 1971 and a 1973. Someone told me the other two were active LA County Paramedic units. What happened to those other two, I'd like to know.

Dunno if anyone mentioned this here before, but there is a Facebook group dedicated to Emergency. It is EmergencyKMG365. It is a great group. Members discuss episodes, joke around about the show, talk shop, and post screen shots from different episodes in which ya give funny captions to. Also, Randolph Mantooth and Kevin Tighe (Roy & Johnny) occasionally 'drop by' for some good conversation!
