LODD: Elmore County Sheriffs Department (AL)

Postby Jeff_C on Mon Dec 01, 2014 12:53 am

At approx 7:45 PM on Nov 23rd a deputy with the Elmore County Sheriff's Department was killed in a head-on collision with a car load of 16 year olds while on patrol.

Deputy James B Hart was a 20 year veteran of the Montgomery Fire Department reaching the rank of Lieutenant before retiring in 2010. He later became a deputy with ECSO and was with the department for 5 years.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue

Hi Jeff, its always sad when any personnel are killed on duty. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, colleagues and friends.

We have had two Country Fire Service personnel, here in South Australia, late last year, killed in the course of their participation in fighting two separate fires.

Condolences from Robbo.
If it's not broken, then don't try to fix it. If it is broken then only one tool and aids are required: A hammer if it's tight and Blu-Tack if it's loose.
