Toronto Fire Squad 313

1/87 scale, a current build for my day job. This model will be fully lit, maybe or maybe not motorized.

Started with a Walthers Hazmat truck, removed the spotlights from the top, and repositioned the lockers. Stripped the paint form the cab and raised the roof to match the box. Repainted them both and am now working on the details and lighting, then decals.

The goal: Image

Filled the locker markings, and scribed new ones

Raised the cab roof, stripped the rear protrusions from the stock body and had the lower window laser cut.

Front markers. This one will be shown on a street without the emergency. Markers, headlights and taillights.

Excellent for such a small scale, especially with the miniature LED lights. I'm following with interest to see the final model.

If it's not broken, then don't try to fix it. If it is broken then only one tool and aids are required: A hammer if it's tight and Blu-Tack if it's loose.

In the back you can see the original unaltered model. I will do a side by side comparison in the final post.

Nice. Love the lighting. HO scale difficult to do. Small. I did a few. In boxes now. Will set up trains some day and trucks will go back in service.
