HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

I'd back that $10,000.00 offer down to about $1,500 - $2,000.00 & go from there. Gonna need some professional body work, there's rust showing on the lower body, that the paint is hiding & possible radiator or a/c condensor damage since the grille was knocked out. I inherited a custom built 1976 Caddy station wagon & parts ain't cheap. It also had rust bubbles that needed attention. Rmember the saying " on a quiet night, you can hear a GM rust". But it still looks like a nice project, just don't pay too much.

I'd also bid low, something in the less than $2000 range. A friend of mine tried rebuilding an old 60s Cadilac Eldorado, and put at least $10K into it before he had to get out from under.

by the way, GM products don't rust. It's actually the paper-mache drying out, and turning to powder. That's why on GM, all you'll need is "spit and polish". LOL

I'd also start lower. Being that its a conversion, some of the parts may be specific/modified for the ambo. purpose, and that can make them impossible to find. Rust repair ain't cheap, especially to do it right.
