I have considered building one of these & was looking at the SSB resins kit. Recently looked on their web site & found that they appear to have shut up shop. I can use a pick-up kit for front cab & chassis & scratch build the rest. However, I need to finish my current project (1:10 scale Mercedes Sprinter ambulance) first, followed by an Airbus 380 1:144 scale and a 63 Jo-Han Cadillac ambulance, which I bought for my recent 77th birthday.

Cheers, Robbo.
If it's not broken, then don't try to fix it. If it is broken then only one tool and aids are required: A hammer if it's tight and Blu-Tack if it's loose.

Hi Gary, I checked out the SSB listings on eBay and found 3 ex display case finished models @ Aust $400.05 with postage at $55.95 each. LAFD Heavy rescue, LAFD Ford ambulance and LAFD Battalion 13 Suburban. Nice models, however too costly for me. It looks like doing my own thing with a pick-up truck kit and scratch build of the rear cabin. A well into the future project.

Robbo.

Hey Robbo , Yeah his stuff is Expensive.....I bought one of the FDNY ambulances for $75, LAcoFD paramedic squads for $114 and the FDNY seagrave rear mount ladder for $350.....and I heard the Tiller is going for just under $500....but the quality is unparalleled.....I'm saving money for the tiller .....but it may be awhile........Gary
