Bare Metal Foil "New Improved Chrome"

Postby Jeff_C on Wed Dec 29, 2010 12:49 pm

I have started using the "New Improved Chrome" by Bare Metal Foil, and I'm now going to do more foiling on my projects!

The new improved chrome is more forgiving than the previous generation of the foils. It's a little thicker, but it doesn't hide details. In fact it seems to stretch a little and it doesn't tear as easily as the more delicate foil did.

Adhesion is excellent

Seams and wrinkles dissappear without fear of tearing.

It goes on with a somewhat natural patina, but I found that it can be buffed to a high shine (almost as bright as the Ultra Bright Chrome foil)

Price is $7.95 + tax

Highly recommended!

Jeff,
Is the packaging marked "new and improved", or did you order yours directly from BMF? As I stated before, your ALF Eagle project looks great! Thanks for sharing the project and this information.
