Starting To Feel Like A Lurker Around Here!

Postby Chris on Sun Apr 10, 2011 11:04 pm

But then again to be that I would actually have to get a chance to even lurk! Now that the boys are older my free time has gone to pretty much nonexistent. Not really built anything in a while, have not finished anything in over 2 years now, all though I did get some time behind the airbrush last weekend on the old 50's tanker. I have no problems with paint not being cured before going to the next step that's for sure! Most weekends now are spent with Boy Scouts, not that is a bad thing by no means. Actually loving every minute of it and really a blast getting to work with them closely. I have been getting lots of time with another hobby though since I can get away with it while on Scouting stuff, photography. Really been trying to take it to the next level or two. Guess since I have no builds to show, here are some photos you can check out if you want.

Local Native American Pow Wow- http://www.flickr.com/photos/cmobley/se ... 249298409/

A concert I was asked to shoot, which was a nice challenge that I was not sure how it would turn out - http://www.flickr.com/photos/cmobley/se ... 234089023/

Just a bunch of everything- http://www.flickr.com/photos/cmobley/sets/

Got this one today though just playing around that surprised me like builds have from time to time. It was about 10 or 15 feet from me buzzing around.

No way I am going to take pics of my builds like that, they would never look anything nice! :D

Who are you? :P

I know the feeling, all I seem to find the time for is 1/72 aircraft that are a bit easier to squeeze into my schedule. Anything more complicated just gets put to the side after gluing a few bits together.

That's some shot of the bee, Chris! Has anybody ever come up with how it is they can fly with such small wings! Truly a wonder of nature!
