Reference Pages?

Postby Lyonsperf on Sat Nov 01, 2014 9:51 am

What happened to the articles and other info that was posted on the homepage before the site got hacked?

There was a lot of valuable info. I also noticed many of the Tutorials are missing their pics. Would love to see them back.

If you are talking about the Wordpress site which was in use for a short time, that was lost when the site went down.

I've just started one of my own where I will be putting a lot of the same material up that I had done here. Nothing of any interest up yet, but I've got a lot of material just waiting for me to start typing.

I also have been running a Model Fire Apparatus site with mostly detail photos of emergency vehicles for about 9 years. Hoping to give it a long overdue update over the winter, but that has been the plan for a couple of years now...

As far as the tutorials go, that is the downside of linking to offsite photo hosting sites like Photobucket or Fokti. Over time people delete or rearrange their photos in the account which leads to broken links. If there are any in particular you would like to see you might post a message to the original author and see if they could fix the broken links, or maybe redo the tutorial.

I think I downloaded most of the pdf format articles that use to be there.
If I can help with copies, let me know.
