New Fire Apparatus Magazine

Anybody seen the new magazine called "Vintage Fire Truck"? Here's a look at the Premier issue. Issue No. 2 for January and February just came out and shows a B Model Mack pulling an 85' aerial.

Neat, I occasionally pick up Fire Apparatus Journal but it is more focused on current in service apparatus.

Do you have the 1st issue? I'm curious if it mostly a selection of standard posed 3/4 view photos of lots of apparatus or if they go into more detail with just a few rigs and show off the more interesting bits.

I have the first and now second issue. This magazine is very similar to Vintage Trucks Magazine and is dedicated to restoration, old timers, etc. For example in the second issue there is a 3-4 page article just on the preservation of gold leaf and an artist in Maine who does all kinds of fancy trim from repainting hand tubs to newly restored pumpers and ladders.
Other features are a 90 year journey of a '26 ALF, a '48 Dodge, Tacoma's Fire Boat, Wilkes-Barre Truck 6, the Ahrens-Fox. There are very few ads for now (I suspect they will increase) but lots of detail photos and interesting stuff. Completely different from Fire Appartus Journal.

Stars at night. You see them due to the light traveling from them. What you see is the stars past. If you are seeing a star that's 6,000 yrs ago. Imagine somebody on that star looking at us. They'd be seeing us as 6,000 yrs ago. Which of those two is now?
