Engine assembly for Am LaFrance AMT pumper

Postby FirehorseMike on Fri Jan 27, 2017 10:36 pm

Hello All,

I purchased what was to be a complete AMT AMERICAN LaFRANCE pumper kit. It was listed as they think it was complete parts wise. Started building and rebuilding and come to find out no engine or transmission parts. That said does anyone have spare they would part with? I will gladly purchase and pay for postage.

Thanks

Mike , after checking all of the parts drawers and comparing them to the instructions from a pumper kit , I find that I dont have a complete engine , what I do have is about 3/4 of the engine parts , i can send them to you if that will help, just wanted to let you know so that you aren't hanging out there waiting for a response. Gary, when I get off shift I'll take a pic of what I need. I bought a box of ALF parts from a hobby shop local to me and checked that found most of what I need in that. Missing the blower, valve covers , and most important the housing at the end of the transmission for the drive shaft.

Thanks for your help

OK Mike , Let me know , the part you need most I have (The transmission housing where the drive shaft fits in) , I just double checked....the blower and the chrome covers are the parts I'm missing....Gary
