Missing Italeri Wheel

Postby jimb on Wed Jan 22, 2014 1:49 pm

I am working on the Italeri Iveco-Magirus DLK 23-12 ladder truck, and I am missing a wheel. The part that I'm missing is Part #80G for the spare tire. I have no idea where it is. It most likely became an inadvertent cat-toy, in which case I'll never find it. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks,
Jim

I might.
I have 3 of that kit!
Actually 2 of the Iveco-Magirus, and 1 Volvo version.

Curious; Did you get the 2 piece Styrene tires, or the hollow Rubber/vinyl ones??
Depending on which kit I open, I have Both types between the 3 kits.

I sure wish the parts pack of the hollow rubber/vinyl ones were not $18.oo for only 8 tires!!!

I'm kind of surprised that you'd say that. It's a new kit. I just got it in December 2012. Is Italeri still issuing kits with plastic tires?

I got mine over a 2-3 year time line
And likely got an OLDER issue.

As far as I know, Most kits now have the vinyl/rubber ones and NOT the Styrene ones
But, Most of the time that I see them on evilbay, they show the 2 piece styrene tires!!

The first Iveco-Magirus I got was in a Mailer box not a kit box!!
That one definitely has the styrene tires.

The second one was sealed New, and did have the vinyl-rubber tires

Did you find that part? I just got an email from Italeri saying that they could send it to me for €3 ($4).

It's the wheel that I need, not the tire. Do you think that wheel will work with the vinyl tire? I'm not that familiar with Italeri kits.

All italieri wheels and tyres are interchangeable as the use the same molds for 99% of their trucks.
