Matt,
The nozzles look AWESOME! Will the straight bore fit the deck gun? BTW, I posted a link to your Shapeways shop to a few Facebook modelers pages to spread the word!

David,

I believe it will. I'll check for sure Monday. If it does I'll create a deck gun set with it.

I appreciate the share!!

All,

the set of deck guns with the other nozzle are now available.

Not sure what I'll be able to get in this week. Hopefully the fittings to go with the hose nozzles.

How about doing some manufacturers nameplates?
I am a mechanical engineer and used to use Cadkey, but that was years ago.
What software are you using?

NX (Unigraphics) Hmmm Nameplates could be a possibility. Some might be a challenge.

I've used Cadkey, Autocad, Mechanical Desktop, Cadam, and several others

Yeah these trucks really use a lot of them. The ones that are available in resin aren't very good as far as detail goes.

I downloaded freecad but its alot different than what i'm used to. Have to re-teach myself.

Good luck with your venture! Feel free to contact me anytime for ideas, lol!

Whoever may have ordered the Deckguns... They failed the manual review... I made modifications to them so they should pass. You can reorder them, mention they failed the manual check, and they should waive the shipping if you reorder them.

My Apologies.

Hi Matt,
Took advantage of the 20% off Cyber Monday special and ordered the set of 4 deck guns and the 1/35 scale Stokes basket jig. Once made, it will go on this:

Just to confirm - the deck guns are 1/24 - correct? Thanks!

Correct deck guns are 1/24.

Don;t forget I can (more than likely) scale any models I have in my store for other scales (There might be thickness limitations).

I greatly appreciate the orders so far!!!!

Matt,

Any progress on the reversible axes in their mounts? Have a few other suggestions when you are ready for them.

If nobody mentioned them yet, how about some Stortz fittings? Something to replace the blob in the Trumpeter ALF kit.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue

Jeff, I'm assuming. 1.5, 2.5 and 4" versions? They may take a bit of time if I can't find a model... I hope they're not too thin to print.

All,

I've added some flat head axes in mounting brackets to the store, as well as a nozzle / Wye set. It contains 2 each of 2 different 2.5" nozzles, 2 each of 4 different 1.5 inch nozzles (2) 4" x 2.5" wye and (3) 2.5" x 1.5" wyes.

All are here:

I'm planning on some sets of both style Axes up shortly.

Matt,
Can't wait to get my second order of deck guns and 1/35 stokes basket jig! Just got the Shapeways notification that they were successfully printed and "on the way"! Matt, any idea when the handline nozzles would be available? Lastly, what was the word on the elbows and plumbing fixtures? Any chance of modifying to 1/24-25 scale? Just thrilled with your products Matt!

I have a set of Nozzles & Wyes in the store. There should be several sets of just hand nozzles up today as well. I need to get through more fittings. most of the models I got from Elkhart & Akron brass are a mess of sheets, they can be finicky to make into a solid.

The intake valve is kicking my (*&^)^ I may have to try to make my own from scratch using Akron's as a guide.

The last couple of weeks at work haven't left me with a lot of free time to play with "my" stuff.

A Little more progress - I have it printable with the Storz fitting. Would a regular 4" male fitting be useful???

Here's what's likely to be the last set of the year.

There's a couple of sets of fittings now available. they each contain the Piston intake, 2 different size Wye's and 90 degree swivel elbows.

https://www.shapeways.com/model/2961419/1-24-scale-fire-fitting-set-a-large.html?li=shop-results&materialId=61

I can always change quantities if you guys think it's worthwile.

I genuinely thank you for your support, and look forward to creating more items for you guys.

Yes... a 4" fitting would also be great!! And it should be a female for the pump panel.

There's now the same assortments that have 4" threaded fittings.

(they should be available shortly, waiting on them to propagate thru the site)

Edit 12/19 - I added a third set with the "winged" caps as well.
