I'm workin' on the second one... but it's still fighting.

It's Elkhart's Cobra EXM

David,

you might need a smaller (5-700 GPM one) All the ones I've done are 1250-2000 GPM.

There's a couple more Monitors available. I added the "modeled after" into the description on the RC versions.

How about a smaller one for wildland vehicles? I think something like this 125gpm unit would be more appropriate on the Humvee.

I received my order from Shapeways yesterday. Everything looks great. Now I have a few questions.... will model master liquid cement work on these? Paint....MM/Acryl okay to use?

Thanks,
Greg H

It's an Acrylic based plastic. I haven't tried cementing anything yet. worst case superglue will work. Just about any paint should as well.

Aside from the 1/35 scale stokes litter jig, what else is there in 1/35 scale? some of the listings don't list scale.

Matt: the short spine board looks great. Thanks for adding it...I'll be ordering some soon. On a related note, any chance of doing a Halligan bar in different (18" 30" 36" 54") sizes?

TIA,

When you click on the item, I try to list the scale in the "About this item" description. I went thru and added it to the title on a lot.

The fire stuff is all 1/24 scale with most of the other 1/35. if there's anything you're looking for in a different scale let me know & I'll see if it's do-able. Some stuff is too thin to scale (like the stokes basket, hence the JIG in 1/35 scale)

I can, but I can almost be certain the tapered point on the side will be a printing issue , as it gets too thin.

Matt: I thought about that with all of the points that are on the Halligan, but wasn't sure of the limitations on the printing.

Matt, I was looking through your store, those bench vises you did in 1/35 would be useful in 1/25 as well. Not uncommon to see them on the rear bumper of a repair vehicle, dozer tender or crew haul.

Alright guys..... February was a crappy month.... Hoping to a better one. I have a few custom orders, as well as a personal project I've been trying to finish up, but then I should be back to the hose fittings.

Stars at night. You see them due to the light traveling from them. What you see is the stars past. If you are seeing a star that's 6,000 yrs ago. Imagine somebody on that star looking at us. They'd be seeing us as 6,000 yrs ago. Which of those two is now?

I got my set today and they look nice and fit well, BUT! the lenses point in the wrong directions on them
Image
The open ones are not as obvious as the filled ones
Image
The one pancake light is not angled but parallel with the body of the pod
Image
Image
Image
fixable but should be fixed at production, a little difficulty finding lenses for the open ones, going to use AMT ALF spot lights and tint red lenses

Greg,

The pictures looks deceiving, thewy looked like they were up/down and not down/parallel. I will make the necessary modifications. (I was looking all over town for an older style but it seems even the transport services here, all have the box style anymore.

Greg, any chance of doing a 1/25th scale hose clamp as seen on the back of many older fire trucks?

You will have to make that request to ModelBuilderMatt135
He has the machine, I just was a buyer.
You will need to do the research as to what you want
