Early Hose Wagon with Deluge76 viewsThis is a 1:32 scale replica of an early Hose and Deluge wagon used by Vernon FD, an all industrial city in Southern California.
The 1941 Chevy chassis has a Yankee hose body with a 2,500 gpm "Intelli-giant" deluge made by Cromer Eng. and Mfg (Los Angeles), the forerunner of Stang Mfg. The deluge was added around 1961.
The cab/front end is a heavily modified "Desert Rat" military model and the hose body and deluge are scratch built.

Excelsior Engine Co, Pearl River Fire Department254 views1976 FWD/Seagrave High Pressure Pumper: Scratchbuilt cab and body of a prototype pumper that was in service until about 2005. The model features many scratchbuilt accessories to replicate the prototype. I do recall that the hose bed and the coats/boot/helmets were a real pain to get done. The "12-HP" is their designation for this unit, 12 being their dept number and HP representing a high pressure pump. This was my first attempt at a totally scratchbuilt cab, I recall it was around 1984.

American LaFrance 1000 series pumper111 viewsThis was my first firetruck model that I have ever made. This kit was a pain in my backside. After completing the trumpeter one a couple of weeks later. I really really dislike the amt kit.
